Privacy Policy

Purpose. Alfred is a personal, non-commercial digital assistant that integrates with Google Calendar to manage my family’s private schedule. It is intended for my own use and limited viewing by immediate family members. Alfred is not publicly accessible and is not offered as a service to caregivers or the general public.

Data Access

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events – create, update, and delete events on calendars I have permission to access.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendarlist.readonly – read my calendar list to identify and select target calendars.

Data Use

• Calendar event data (such as titles, times, descriptions, and attendees) is used solely to display, create, and manage my family calendar.
• Data is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising or profiling.

Storage & Security

• OAuth access tokens are stored securely on a private server to maintain the Google Calendar connection.
• Calendar content is not published or exposed publicly. Any system logs are minimal and used only for operational troubleshooting.

Retention & User Control

• Calendar data remains primarily within Google Calendar and is retained only as required for the assistant to function.
• Events can be modified or deleted directly in Google Calendar at any time.
• Application access can be revoked at any time via Google Account → Security → Third-party access.
